China has further improved its cooperation mechanism with the Belt and Road countries with rising trade volumes, according to a press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce.
According to data from the Ministry of Commerce, as of the end of June, China has signed more than 190 cooperation documents with more than 160 countries and international organisations.
This year, China has established the number of trade facilitation working teams and investment cooperation working teams in the Belt and Road countries with 11 teams established so far.
China has also established bilateral e-commerce cooperation mechanisms with 18 Belt and Road countries to provide a mechanism guarantee for the development of “Silk Road E-commerce”.
From January to May, the total import and export volume of goods and goods between China and the Belt and Road countries exceeded US$500 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%.
