President Xi Jinping called for more countries to join China’s sprawling infrastructure-building initiative along with leaders expressed support Saturday.

Xi spoke to celebrate Road Initiative along with the Belt, his trademark overseas project. The forum’s upbeat tone, at which President Vladimir Putin and leaders praised the initiative, which is a setback for the Trump government, which is trying to dissuade other countries from participating.
