The 27th China Lanzhou Investment & Trade Fair held in Northwest China’s Gansu Province ended on Monday with major increase in number and value of contracts inked.

Organisers stated that a total of 697 contracts worth 390.92 billion yuan (about USD60.39 billion) were signed throughout the five-day event, an upsurge of 18.7 percent and 43.2 percent year on year, correspondingly.

According to the organising committee, the agreements were mostly in the regions of new energy and materials, chemical engineering, manufacturing equipment, modern agriculture, bio-pharmaceuticals, and culture and tourism.

The event concentrated on intensifying economic and trade collaboration and equally building a green Silk Road, with exhibitions and conferences held both online and offline.
