“We have several campuses and students from various countries. This will support our future development, because we have alumni around the world,” he added.

The university was founded in 1960 to provide higher education for returned overseas Chinese students.

Now the university has 200,000 alumni at home and abroad, of whom 50,000 are currently in China’s Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and the countries and regions along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
