Yang Jiechi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on Sunday called for Implementing the Consensus reached at the Second Belt & Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) and upholding Multilateralism. He is also the Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPCCC.

He made the remarks when meeting with the Members of the BRF Advisory Council who attended the Council’s Second meeting in Beijing.

He called for implementing the consensus reached at the Second BRF held in April, building an open world economy, upholding multilateralism, striving for mutually beneficial cooperation & working together to build a community with a shared future for humanity.

The Members said the Belt & Road Initiative is of Global Significance and Conforms to the trend of Multilateralism, and the Advisory Council will continue to contribute to the Belt & Road Construction.
