A New International Train Route launched on Friday from Jingmen City in Central China’s Hubei Province, with the departure of a Freight Train carrying dozens of Containers loaded with Chinese-made goods bound for Ports across Europe, Africa & even North America.

The Freight Train, carrying 44 Containers filled with local products including fertilizer and nonwoven fabric, will first stop in Wuhan, the Provincial Capital, where the goods will be transferred to vessels for sea transport or China-Europe Freight Trains for multiple destinations including countries and regions along the Belt & Road Routes.

Jingmen, a major grain-production area known as China’s “Agriculture Valley”, is home to a growing number of export enterprises. The New Freight Route will not only expand transportation networks in Jingmen, but will also help local enterprises to save time and money on shipping.
