One of KSTAR Overseas large-scale utility PV Projects, Ukraine Nikopol 200MW PV Power Plant, is located in the vicinity of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, South of Ukraine.
The Project has already become one of Chinese “One Belt And One Road”, whose Initiative addresses an “Infrastructure Gap” and thus has potential to accelerate economic growth across the Asia Pacific Area, Central & Eastern Europe and Africa.
The 200MW Power Plant will generate over 290 mln kWh of green electricity, strengthening energy independence in Ukraine. The 200MW Nikopol Solar Power Plant occupies the territory of 400 hectares, which are low-yield lands and cannot be farmed efficiently.
The Project is most intelligent Chinese Solar PV System in East Europe. The Solar Panels, inverters, combiner boxes and control system are all “Made in China”. Higher efficiency, higher stability and higher reliability make “Made in China” more convincing and trusted worldwide.
KSTAR provided 2.5MW ITS as the intelligent solution, which could save system costs, improve system efficiency, and eventually increase profit for the customer.
Annual electricity generation is expected to meet the electricity demand of 140,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 300,000 tons. The PV project works well in severe environment, like low & high temperate and arid climate zone in the south, -38℃ for lowest temperature and 40.1℃for maximum temperature.
KSTAR’s inverters GSL2500MV35, cooling and overload capacity meets requirements of the customer.
“It is our great honour to finish the PV projects of One Belt And One Road here.We hope our cooperation with partners will contribute a lot to the local people, help them reduce electricity bills and create more clean energy” said Sales Director Gary Ye from KSTAR, “
We are planning to introduce more intelligent inverter product catering to the European market to better meet the customers needs.
We will continue to invest in R&D and sales for the introduction of the most advanced technology and products to enable a better and faster development for its renewable industry.”
